                      Illusion II was damaged Sept. 6, 2017 in Hurricane Irma.

    Both masts down and broken. One of few boats in shipyard remaining         upright. Hull in tact no damage.  Presently in Virgin Gorda Shipyard.

This picture shows Illusion II sitting on hard in shipyard just after hurricane. Both mast were broken and removed. Estimate replacement cost for  main  approximately $48K for new construction shipped from Florida. Used masts can be found in future months after salvage of other boats. All rigging, fittings and main and mizzen booms are in tact and on boat.
